Kabupaten Tulungagung adalah kota kecil di selatan Jawa Timur dengan segala potensi sumber daya yang ada. Tulungagung selatan memiliki potensi alam yang luar biasa indah, yang dapat di manfaatkan menjadi lumbung ekowisata Tulungagung. Namun, pembangunan infrastruktur masih dipandang sebelah mata. Jalan raya desa sebagai jalur utama berputarnya roda perekonomian justru dibiarkan rusak bertahun-tahun. Ini menyebabkan kurang maksimalnya pemanfaatan potensi wisata dan lahan ekonomi pangan di daerah Tulungagung selatan.
Tulungagung selatan juga memiliki banyak sekolah sebagai pusat pendidikan mencerdaskan kehidupan anak-anak di Tulungagung. Namun, perhatian terhadap sekolah-sekolah yang ada di Tulungagung selatan masih minim. Pusat perhatian pendidikan selalu di sekolah-sekolah kota. Seperti akses jalan menuju sekolah dibiarkan rusak, bangunan yang reot retak membahayakan siswa tidak diperhatikan. Padahal di Tulungagung selatan memiliki potensi siswa yang berprestasi dan layak mendapat penyetaraan keadilan dalam pendidikan.
Banyak warga muda Tulungagung yang ingin melanjutkan pendidikan tinggi tapi mengalami keterbatasan ekonomi. Pemerintah Tulungagung tidak ada inisiatif memberikan program beasiswa daerah kepada mereka. Disamping beasiswa dari kemendikbud, pemerintah Tulungagung harus menunjukkan kepeduliannya kepada putra-putri terbaik Tulungagung untuk melanjutkan pendidikan dan membangun daerahnya kembali.
Tulungagung memiliki potensi pemuda yang besar, yang terkumpul ke dalam komunitas komunitas pemuda seperti: Karang Taruna, Ikatan Persaudaraan Pencak silat, Ikatan Pelajar NU, Ikatan Pelajar Putri NU, Ikatan Pelajar Muhammadiyah, Paguyuban Aktivis Wisata, Ikatan Remaja GenRe, Ikatan Mahasiswa Tulungagung, dan banyak perkumpulan pemuda lain. Potensi pemuda ini yang masih hanya sekedar bunga rampai dijadikan subjek di program pemerintah, belum menjadikan pemuda sebagai objek dalam pelaksanaan program yang produktif untuk pemuda.
Saya Moh Suma Firman Romadhoni sebagai putra asli Tulungagung selatan, lahir dan tinggal di daerah desa pegunungan, menyadari pentingnya peran serta dalam pembangunan Tulungagung untuk kesetaraan dan keadilan. Pembangunan infrastruktur dasar, seperti jalan raya dan jalan desa yang menuju sekolah dan tempat wisata potensial harus diperbaiki. Pemberian dana abadi pendidikan untuk beasiswa daerah bagi mereka putra-putri terbaik Tulungagung yang ingin melanjutkan pendidikan tinggi harus di dukung penuh. Pelibatan kelompok pemuda sebagai basis aspirasi dan objek pelaksanaan program harus dimaksimalkan. Produktifitas warga usia muda harus diperhatikan setidaknya dalam pemenuhan ekonomi keluarga.
Karena itulah, saya Moh Suma Firman Romadhoni berniat dengan tekad kuat mengajukan diri sebagai calon anggota DPRD Kab. Tulungagung Dapil Tulungagung 3 (Pucanglaban, Kalidawir, Tanggunggunung, Campurdarat). Untuk bersama-sama masyarakat menggelorakan menuntut keadilan dan kesetaraan di wilayah Tulungagung Selatan.
