SUMAPEDIA.COM, SURABAYA – BKKBN Jawa Timur melaksanakan kegiatan Advokasi dan KIE Percepatan Penurunan Stunting oleh Mitra Kerja melalui Promosi dan KIE Pengasuhan Balita, yang dilaksanakan pasa 6 Februari 2023 bertempat di Univesitas Narotama, Surabaya.
Kegiatan ini dihadiri oleh Ibu Arzeti Bilbina, SE, M.Ap., selaku Anggota Komisi IX DPR-RI. Kepala Perwakilan BKKBN Jawa Timur, Dra. Maria Ernawati, M.M., diwakili oleh Ibu Uni Hidayati, S.ST, M.M. Ibu Ir. Maulisa Nusiara, selaku Sekretaris Dinas P3APPKB Kota Surabaya. Rektor Universitas Narotama, Bapak Dr. Arasy Alimudin, S.E, M.E.
Maulisa dalam sambutannya menyampaikan bahwa pemerintah Kota Surabaya memiliki delapan langkah dalam aksi percepatan penurunan Stunting.
Dua poin yang pertama adalah aksi analisis situasi Kota Surabaya melalui penghitungan kemampuan dan penyediaan anggaran untuk penyelenggaraan kegiatan percepatan penurunan Stunting. Aksi kedua adalah mendayagunakan anggaran untuk kesehatan, khususnya pencegahan Stunting
Maulisa juga menambahkan, sejak terbitnya peraturan Wali Kota (Perwali) No. 79 Tahun 2022 tentang Percepatan Penurunan Stunting di Surabaya, Pemerinta Kota Surabaga melalui Dinas Pemberdayaan Perempuan dan Perlindungan Anak serta Pengendalian Penduduk dan Keluarga Berencana (DP3APPKB) secara intens merangkul dan melibatkan stakeholder dan masyarakat dalam menurunkan angka Stunting.
Mewakili Kepala Perwakilan BKKBN Jawa Timur, Uni Hidayati, S.ST, M.M, dalam sambutannya menyampaikan bahwa Peran keluarga dalam masa 1000 HPK sangatlah penting dimana keluarga merupakan madrasah pertama dan utama bagi anak-anak yang dilahirkan. Orangtua merupakan guru, pendidik, dan role model yang pertama dan utama.
“Kualitas pengasuhan sangat menentukan kualitas generasi penerus yang dilahirkan oleh satu keluarga,” kata Uni Hidayati.
“Mencetak para orang tua yang cerdas dan terampil dalam pendampingan dan pengasuhan tumbuh kembang pada anak menjadi langkah sangat strategis dalam rangka perencanaan melahirkan generasi penerus yang berkualitas serta Langkah strategis untuk mencegah bayi baru lahir stunting,” tambah Uni Hidayati.
“Berdasaekan Data Survei Status Gizi Balita Indonesia (2021) menunjukkan bahwa angka prevalensi stunting di Indonesia adalah 24,4 persen dan di tahun 2022 turun menjadi 21,6 % (Data SSGI Tahun 2022), Jawa Timur sebesar dari 23,5% turun menjadi 19,2% dan Kota Surabaya di tahun 2022 sebesar 4,8%,” pungkas Uni Hidayati.
Rektor Universitas Narotama, Bapak Dr. Arasy Alimudin, S.E, M.E dalam sambutannya mengucapkan terima kasih kepada mitra kerja anggota DPR RI, Perwakilan BKKBN Jawa Timur, OPD KB, Dinas/Instansi Terkait atas terselenggaranya kegiatan Advokasi dan KIE kali ini.
Arasy juga memberikan apresiasi kepasa seluruh kader yang hadir atas pengabdian yang dilakukan dalam upaya percepatan penurunan Stunting.
Arzeti Bilbina, SE, M.Ap. selaku anggota Komisi IX DPR-RI, dalam sambutannya menyampaikan apresiasi kepada BKKBN dan seluruh masyarakat yang telah berperan penting dalam penurunan Stunting di Jawa Timur.
“Kegiatan ini merupakan salah satu sinergi kolaborasi yang strategis dalam upaya mencetak orang tua yang cerdas dan terampil dalam pendampingan dan pengasuhan tumbuh kembang pada anak,” kata Arzeti.
Arzeti juga mengatakan bahwa Komisi IX DPR-RI siap mendukung penuh program BKKBN dalam percepatan penurunan stunting melalui berbagai program inovasi seperti yang dilaksanakan kali ini.
Setelah acara pembukaan, kegiatan dilanjutkan dengan pemaparan materi dari Narasumber Ahli yaitu Dokter dan Ahli Gizi, serta dari Perwakilan BKKBN Provinsi Jawa Timur.
