PERINGATI HARI GIZI NASIONAL, INSAN GENRE JATIM GELAR FESTIVAL NUTRISI REMAJA DALAM WAKTU DEKAT

SUMAPEDIA.COM-Insan GenRe Jawa Timur menggelar rapat persiapan Youth Nutrition Festival pada Selasa (17/1). Kegiatan ini merupakan kerja sama antara Insan GenRe Jawa Timur dan Yayasan RISE Foundation dalam rangka memperingati Hari Gizi Nasional 25 Januari mendatang.

Pembina Insan GenRe Jawa Timur, Haydar Iskandar mengatakan Youth Nutrition Festival ini akan digelar di berbagai lokasi di Kota Surabaya dan Kabupaten Jember.

“Ini adalah kerjasama antara Insan GenRe dan RISE Foundation yang memiliki tujuan yang sama, kita harap dari kegiatan ini akan berdampak positif kepada remaja di Jawa Timur, khususnya Surabaya dan Jember supaya mereka lebih peduli terhadap gizi yang dikonsumsi,” ungkap Haydar, Selasa (17/1) malam.

Youth Nutrition Festival ini terdiri dari 8 aksi gizi remaja yang akan dikelola dan dilaksanakan oleh Insan GenRe Jawa Timur. Setiap aksi gizi ini merupakan hasil pemikiran remaja Jawa Timur yang memiliki konsep berbeda-beda dengan sasaran yang berbeda pula.

Aksi ini juga akan melibatkan remaja dari Surabaya dan Jember yang sebelumnya telah mengikuti Youth Nutrition Training di Surabaya pada Desember lalu. 

Beberapa kegiatan inovatif oleh remaja yang akan digelar di Jawa Timur ini diantaranya sebagai berikut.

Roadshow Aksi Pahlawan Gizi, Health Heroes on the Village, Gerakan Sehat Nyata, ASSSIP (Aksi Sebar Serba Serbi Informasi Pangan), Gizi Seimbang Senyum Mengembang, dan Gerakan Gizi Sehat Mahasiswa akan dilaksanakan di Kota Surabaya.

Sementara itu, GenRe Goes to School dan Healthy Teenagers Camp akan dilaksanakan di Kabupaten Jember.

Beberapa tempat yang akan menjadi lokasi pelaksanaan Youth Nutrition Festival ini diantaranya, SMP/SMA Yapita Surabaya, SMKN 10 Surabaya, Kelurahan Pagesangan, SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Surabaya, dan UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya.

Dengan adanya kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan pemahaman masyarakat terkait masalah gizi remaja sebagai salah satu upaya percepatan penurunan stunting di kalangan remaja dan keluarganya.
