DEMO DI DPR, RATUSAN KEPALA DESA TUNTUT PERPANJANG MASA JABATAN JADI 9 TAHUN

SUMAPEDIA.COM-Ratusan kepala desa menggelar aksi unjuk rasa di depan Gedung DPR RI, Selasa (17/1). Massa menuntut DPR untuk merevisi Undang-Undang (UU) Nomor 6 Tahun 2014 tentang Desa dan meminta perpanjangan masa jabatan yang semula 6 tahun menjadi 9 tahun.

Pasal 39 dalam UU No. 6 Tahun 2014 berbunyi Kepala Desa memegang jabatan selama 6 tahun terhitung sejak tanggal pelantikan. Kepala Desa dapat menjabat paling banyak 3 kali masa jabatan secara berturut-turut atau tidak secara berturut-turut.

Robi Darwis, Kepala Desa Poja, Bima, Nusa Tenggara Barat menyebut Kepala Desa seluruh Indonesia telah sepakat dan meminta perpanjangan masa jabatan Kepala Desa menjadi 9 tahun. Ia juga mengatakan alasan dan tujuan dari tuntutan mereka.

“Karena memang 6 tahun ini sangat kurang. Karena ketika kita jabatan 6 tahun, kami tetap persaingan politik, jadi tidak cukup 6 tahun. Selama 6 tahun itu kita tetap ada persaingan politik. Maka harapan kami, ketika 9 tahun jabatan kepala desa, persaingan politik itu agak berkurang karena memang waktu yang cukup lama,” ujar Kepala Desa Poja, NTB, Robi Darwis dikutip dari kanal youtube resmi Kompas.com (17/1).

Robi juga mengatakan jika tuntutan mereka tidak diwujudkan oleh pemerintah, mereka akan kembali menggelar aksi unjuk rasa di depan gedung DPR RI.

“Apabila jabatan kami tidak direvisi kembali, kami seluruh kepala desa, kami siap akan melakukan aksi damai besar-besaran di DPR RI,” imbuhnya.

Wakil Ketua DPR, Sufmi Dasco Ahmad bersama Ketua Badan Legislasi DPR, Supratman Andi Agtas sempat menemui massa secara langsung. Mereka berdiri di atas mobil komando dan memastikan aspirasi para Kepala Desa didengar.

“Revisi undang-undang No. 6 itu hanya bisa dilakukan oleh DPR dan pemerintah. Oleh karena ini kami juga akan minta kepada perwakilan untuk setelah ini juga melobi pihak pemerintah,” kata Dasco dikutip dari akun resmi Kompas.com.

Dasco juga menyampaikan kepada massa bahwa revisi harus dilakukan melalui Baleg dan menjanjikan audiensi perwakilan Kepala Desa yang hadir dengan Badan Legislasi DPR pada siang hari ini.

“Dan pada siang ini perwakilan dari kawan-kawan sudah kami siapkan untuk berkonsultasi dengan badan legislasi DPR untuk menyampaikan poin-poin atau apa-apa saja yang minta direvisi pada undang-undang tersebut,” imbuhnya.
